People were never short of things to do at Belle Vue.
Audiences would flock to the Lancashire showground to spend the night dancing
to the UK’s top DJ’s, listen to the Gorton Philharmonic and Halle orchestras,
marvel at the larger than life firework displays or listen to their musical
idols such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and Gracie Fields.
