Ray talks about his fond memories of Belle Vue, and the world's largest trifle!
The beauty about Belle Vue, there was alway a story there. Fascinating place.
We had the worlds largest trifle, they built that and made it and somebody fell in it. We got the kids down from the school and one of them fell in it, I have got all the pictures.
Then they had a chap who use to bury himself in a coffin under the ground and reckoned he never came out, but we seem to know a little bit different that he use to come out and go in a pub across the road.
You got all stories like that, it was absolutely fascinating. We had the leaping tiger, that use to go up about twenty or thirty foot, leap off a board and dive into a tank full of water. We all thought the tiger was pushed
