Stromboli remembers his Mummy act as part of the Belle Vue sideshows
I had a mummy made for me, and it rose out of a coffin. As you went towards it you would turn round and you would look at it and you switched it on. If you looked closely you may see him breath, “uuurggh” “uuurrrgghh” by that time half of them had run out. And then they used to come back in again, by that time he was going back into his coffin again.
