Where did you get it from, and how?

It was given to me by Stuart Bamforth after winning the Peter Craven Memorial Meeting for the 3rd time in 1986 at Belle Vue.

What does it mean to you?

The Peter Craven Memorial Meeting was first run in 1967 and was won by Ivan Mauger. I watched Ivan Mauger win the meeting in 1967 when I was just 11 years old, it is a vivid memory that would inspire me to win the meeting three times once I became a rider. Although I am in possession of the Trophy I am really just the current guardian and although the meeting in memory of Peter Craven may not be run every year it will continue to be run when possible.
